The album is the world premiere recording of piano works of Antoni Stolpe (1851-1872), an eminent Polish composer, who, due to his premature death, fell into oblivion. It contains all his most important finished piano pieces: the Sonata in D minor, Variations in D minor, Allegro appassionato in C minor, Scherzo in C major, Andante in A flat major, Waltz in B flat major, Allegretto No. 1 in A major and Allegretto non troppo No. 2 in A flat major.

The album contains selected pieces of Frédéric Chopin: the Barcarolle in F sharp major Op. 60, Scherzo No. 1 in B minor Op. 20, Scherzo No. 3 in C sharp minor Op. 39, Waltz in E flat major Op. 18, Ballade No. 4 in F minor Op. 52, Four Mazurkas Op. 17 and Polonaise in A flat major Op. 53.

The album is a live DVD recording of a concert in 2014 with works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Robert Schumann, Frédéric Chopin, Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel and Sergei Prokofiev.
